Starting yesterday (October 6th, 2015) my cellular voice and data suddenly stopped working and at the top of my home screen it simply says “Searching…” where the bars/LTE/3G symbols were previously. When I connect my phone to a WiFi network it can send iMessages and connect to the internet and my apps work but I don’t receive text messages or calls.
I have turned my phone on and off, done a hard reset, taken my sim card out, put it in airplane mode for about a minute and then turned airplane mode off, turned off my cellular data in settings and then turned it back on, finally I backed up my phone and wiped it and then restored it from the back up, still I am getting nothing.
Is anyone else experiencing something like this? Before I completely lost cellular it was struggling to connect or maintain at times. It would revert from 4LTE to 3G and then sometime 1x or extended. I have never had issues like this before and I live in a well covered zone. My cell carrier is Verizon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
